some part of me still thinks there's a small carved out piece of the world where pursuing LLMs could still be justifiable, then I watch advocates gaslight, antagonise, needle, bully, lie, and try to strongarm human creators out of communities...

love coming on this app and having some dude get upset that i read his bio because "that's stalking" as someone who had a man actually stalk me for a week & watch me in the parking lot of my building every time i got off work so he could plan breaking into my apartment w/ the intent to rape me

it's so tiring to love social VR and resonite and the vrchat community, and then to getting unprompted hatred for trying to stay in my own lane and spread positivity about my favorite game and occasionally voicing criticism when it is warranted.

no, i don't hate vrchat users or the things...
...they've created (in fact, i love poiyomi and VRCLV! better baked lighting tools are always great!).

i LOVE to show interested people around resonite and show them what it is on it's own terms (without any sort of comparing it to other platforms).
but i guess that doesn't really matter because my being a resonite player primarily is automatically an unforgiveable sin and is inherently wrong in and of itself.
this community is so small and so threatened by tech not caring about us and having to do things our own way that we really should be in solidarity with and understanding of each other. i'm so sick of us going to war with each other its so unneeded. your fellow social vr player is not the enemy
